Historic J.Q. Dickinson Salt-works in West Virginia has a rich history of producing high-quality salt for more than two centuries. In a forward-thinking move in 2020, Historic J.Q. Dickinson embraced solar energy by installing 107 REC solar panels and Solar Edge inverters.
This cutting-edge system is anticipated to produce 44 megawatt hours of electricity per year, resulting in an impressive 12% internal rate of return and a payback period of less than seven years.
With the aid of a USDA REAP grant and other incentives, Revolt Energy skillfully crafted and executed a solar solution that is expected to save over $130,000 over the course of the next 25 years.
